Shea Butter Lip Balm

Tin or old makeup container
1 tsp. beeswax
3 tsp. shea butter
4 tsp. sweet almond oil
1 vitamin E capsule

Method to prepare Shea Butter Lip Balm
- You need to melt the beeswax, shea butter and the sweet almond oil in a double boiler. You could also heat them in a heat safe bowl over a pan of water on the stove. It is better to melt the ingredients in a microwave, but make sure you do not to overheat.
- Once the items get melted, you should stir the ingredients and add the oil from one vitamin E capsule. Vitamin E is nourishing for dry lips.
- Then you should add flavor to the shea butter lip balm. 1 to 2 drops of pure food grade essential oils should be poured in the mixture. Peppermint and orange essential oils blend well with shea butter. You could also use honey to sweeten the lip balm, for that add 1/4 to 1/2 a teaspoon of honey.
